ABSTRACT
ANGGUN SAPUTRI HAMZAH, The Influence of Product Quality, Price, and Competition on Sales Perception Viewed from the Viewpoint of Nikki Echo Fresh Bread Consumers. Guided by Dra. DARNETTI, Ak. M.Si. and RONI AFRIZAL, SE, M.Si.

Bread is a flour-based food that was originally consumed as a snack, but in its development, the culture of consuming bread is no longer something that is alien to most people. The rapid development of bread makes a very big business opportunity for the Nikki Echo bakery company. Fluctuating and unstable sales volume is a problem for the profit of Nikki Echo's bakery company. The purpose of this research is (1) Analyzing the influence of partial consumer perceptions regarding product quality, price, and partial competition on the sale of Nikki Echo bread. (2) Analyzing the effect of simultaneous consumer perceptions regarding product quality, prices, and competition for the sale of Nikki Echo bread. This research was conducted on February 19 - April 18, 2019 at the Nikki Echo Company. The data used in this study are primary data and secondary data. Primary data is obtained through: questionnaires and secondary data from literature, books and the internet. The method used in this collection is quantitative descriptive method. The results of the research are (1) There is a strong relationship between the influence of product quality, price, and competition on the perception of selling Nikki Echo bread with a multiple correlation coefficient of 0.737. While the percentage contribution of consumer perceptions related: product quality, price, and competition simultaneously to the perception of selling Nikki Echo bread by 52.8%. Or the perception of sales is influenced by other variables outside the research variable (product quality, price, and competition) of 47.2% (2) Product quality has a very significant effect on the perception of sales and prices have a significant effect. The regression coefficient test results are respectively 0.266 and 0.193. While the influence of competition on sales perceptions is not significant at 5% alpha.
