The purpose of this research is to identify the management process of plant disease pests and identify techniques for controlling pests and diseases of oil palm, This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach, which describes the data presented so that it can be easily understood. The data collection techniques that the author uses in this study is to use report data from the company and direct interviews with my officials related to pest control at PT. BPSJ. The method used in this study is observation by comparing the results of work in the field with the SOP owned by the company The results showed that the dominant pest attacking oil palm plants was fire caterpillar pests, and the diseases that attacked were stem rot disease. Pest and disease control of oil palm plants is carried out in three ways, namely manually, biologically and chemically. management of pest and disease control at PT. BPSJ is in accordance with the SOP owned by the company, but there are some things that still need to be corrected, such as census of caterpillar pests that have not covered all plantation areas and supervision for the execution of demolition of palm oil attacked by ganoderma should be increased so as not to violate procedures.
